Steel Framed systems

Steel framed systems (SFS) are versatile systems that use cold roll formed galvanized steel sections, assembled on-site to form a stud structure. They can be used for internal walls or a structural frame work for a variety of buildings using external cladding, including brickwork.

Timber Frame Systems

From the outside it is impossible to tell a timber-framed house from a masonry one, because the external cladding is unaffected by the choice of internal walls. The outer decorative 'skin' is finished in the same way as any traditional masonry house, using bricks, stone, timber cladding or rendered blockwork. Levene Brickwork Ltd has worked on a number of timber framed houses.

Precast Stone Masonry

Cast stone products are made from a semi-dry format that is cost-effective and gives consistent quality and colour, and is therefore ideal for a very wide range of property types including residential, retail, religious, self-build, ornamental and restoration applications.

Levene Brickwork Ltd have used cast stone in a variety of applications from stone cills and heads, arches to door and window reveals. Cast stone are also used for features such as date stones, coping stones and stone coursing bands.

Glass Blocks

Glass brick, also known as glass block, is an architectural element made from glass. Glass bricks provide visual obscuration while admitting light. The glass block was originally developed in the early 1900s to provide natural light in manufacturing plants.

Glass blocks are now becoming popular with architects and designers for their thermal control, improving aesthetics and encouraging the flow of natural light.
